How does the BackCare Lothian Branch store members’ personal data?

Members’ personal information, as provided by you when you join or contact us, is held securely by the BackCare Committee, pool coordinators and Membership Secretary both electronically and on the paper forms.

What is the purpose of use?

• To inform members of general information relevant to BackCare: BackCare Newsletters, the Branch AGM notice and other matters necessary in the administration of the Branch. Emails will be sent using blind copy (bcc).

• To provide a Members Contacts List to the Committee and Pool Coordinators.

 To keep National Office up-dated on Branch membership details.

How long does the Lothian Branch retain members’ personal data?

An individual’s personal data is stored until one year after they cease to be a member of BackCare Lothian Branch. 

How do I withdraw or vary the consent for the Lothian Branch

You may withdraw or vary your consent for the BackCare Lothian Branch to hold your personal data at any time by contacting the BackCare Lothian Branch Membership Secretary by email at contact@backcarelothian.org.uk
