For this years Awareness Week, our member Gillian, decided to take on the challenge of walking the 12.5 miles of the Water of Leith Walkway, from Balerno to Leith, to raise funds for the Lothian Branch.
She managed to complete the whole walk on 8th October in one go. Through the Fundraiser she raised £500, however on top of that our Backcare Head Office have matched this amount and added a little extra, so the amazing grand total is now £1075. Thank you and well done.

“Just want to say thanks to everyone who supported me on this challenge. It’s been a very long time since I have walked that kind of distance, however since attending the warm water sessions regularly I felt positive I could give it a good go. Many thanks again to one and all.”
